This was our morning view over coffee and breakfast ham/cheese sandwich plus some juice.

Our hotel was right behind what I believe is a part of the cathedral, but more of a chapel.
Sad to leave Spain but it wasn’t without drama.
I received a reminder about our flight to Paris for a 7:40 am departure on the 31st. The hotel receptionist was kind enough to book a taxi for us for 5 am this morning.
You know how when you travel, things become a bit confused? Well, it happened to me. The flight reminder converted to Raleigh time zone, and our flight was actually at 1:40 pm. I realized my error at 11 pm last night. After 3 calls to the taxi service, it was sorted and he picked us up at the agreed time. He was not in the least annoyed about the confusion. Spaniards are very understanding apparently. This man was, anyway. End result – we were at the airport at a decent time and got to sleep in this morning.
Not a lot of photos today, as we have been traveling – plane and train, and it is raining. We are still headed out for dinner at 8 pm at Les Fetes Galantes – a restaurant I have frequented for over 20 years. If I can, I’ll try to get in a few snaps through the raindrops.
Our Airbnb is the size of a pin head, but is perfectly located for me – in an area with which I am well acquainted. Caleb has a loft bed and I’m on a comfy couch below. We need nothing more.
Dinner at Les fetes Galantes is always a great time. We got there early so got special attention.

And there’s another thing about Paris – I smoke and drink cognac with Bibi (owner of Les fetes Galantes )

Good night til tomorrow. We’ll shop and eat and enjoy all that Paris has to offer.
