Saying good bye

Started on Father’s Day. Richard (Caleb’s paternal grandfather) and wife Paula hosted us at their beautiful farm in Creedmoor. Great food, music, corn hole and conversation.

Tuesday pasta night at Jenn and Ryan’s. Also a farewell to cousin Tobias who had been visiting. He also trimmed Caleb’s hair that night. See a previous post for photos.

Last Friday friends and neighbors gathered at Peggy and Ken Wesp’s home for a farewell pizza night. I was gifted with a basket of goodies for the trip.

Last night Linda (Caleb’s paternal grandmother) and husband Bob treated us to a wonderful dinner at their home. Conversation naturally centered on the trip. Joyful family memories were shared, plus plenty of advice and good wishes.
