We left Santiago de Compostela at 6:00 am for our flight to Paris at 7:30 am. All went well and we landed at about 9:20 am.
We then negotiated the RER into Paris and a metro stop to within walking distance of our apartment.
This is an area with which I am not familiar but was curious to try.
As it happens, the apartment is lovely. We each have a separate bedroom and a shared large bathroom.
Our lunch was typical – croque madame for Caleb and a cheese omelet for me – no complaints at all .
Having satisfied our hunger, we found a Lidl nearby so bought enough for dinner and a start for breakfast.
Caleb is spreading his culinary wings and cooked us a fantastic dinner – chicken thighs with lemon, zucchini in the chicken renderings. Donuts for dessert and a shared flan.
Is there anything better?

I will be sending snippets in the next few days, probably not as many photos, but I hope you get the idea of two carefree pilgrims relaxing after two weeks of knocking ourselves out in the hills of Spain. Loved it, but now it’s time to relax.
I forgot to add , I did laundry and bought some fabulous clothes!
Good night.
